Elemental #8 - Rayleigh, Essex - 6th April 2013

Hello folks, haven't been on here in a bit, in my defence I've been a bit busy being a rockstar ... and also sorting out some things for next year's Elemental so I thought I'd give you a bit of an update:

1) The date will be 6th April for show day, turn up Friday leave sunday if you're camping, same format as usual.

2) NEW VENUE! Still in Essex but we've moved to a new site close tot he junction of the A127 and A130. For those of you coming down the M11 from the Midlands it'll be a few extra miles, those coming from Kent, Sussex, etc, it'll be a shorter journey by the same amount. Swings and roundabouts really. The main thing is we get the same space as the show field and day carpark fields from last time but combined in one field WE ARE NOT MAKING THE SHOW ANY BIGGER, we like the size and friendly vibe and loads of people at Whitenoise begged me not to "go large" as they have so I can assure you we're staying the size we are

3) You can pretty much guarrantee Hobo Jones & the Junkyard Dogs will be back again this year Deferred Sucess, the excellent Gaz Brookfield and a few more suprises to come on the music side of things.

4) We also have a new BIG marquee and sound setup for the above. Anyone who's been to Bearded Theory, Cosmic Puffin, Watchet Live etc festivals this year will already be aware of the Something-Else Tea Tent Those who like a bit of soap dodging music will also probably be aware of a band called Leatherat and their audio-Hobbit Ollie, who will be doing the main sound.

5) Visiontech will be in attendance as usual

6) We will also be hosting Hayburner magazine's 1st birthday celebrations at the show.

... and lots more..... just keeping you all in the loop on what's going on nicely in advance.

Camping Tickets: I'm going to have to put up the price of the camping a little bit to pretty much account for inflation, so prebooked camping will be £7.50 per unit per night and if there is any pay on the day camping left that will be £10. HOWEVER.... In October early-bird tickets will go on sale and anyone prebooking before the end of the year will still pay the same old £5.00 per night price its been since 2006.

Day tickets: will still be a fiver as they always have been since 2006

Oh yeah and its SPOTS this time....
Dalmatian spots, leopard spots, dice, dominos, polkadots, chickenpox, etc...

Elemental #8 is the place in 2013 to be spotted at ( I might even wear a spotty frock)

then we'll put them in Johnny Buffalo's Art Cannon and fire them at a pictureframe to make art
