No you're wrong Zed. The Scooby is their choice not mine. They see it as their future car and have specific requirements. The fact is Neil has been after a Scooby doka for ages.

inner sills are standard van, outers are pickup only, nos ones are available for the door side from vw heritage etc for £35, long sill is similar to split screen van, you really need some nice NOS sides and corners and a bed :D

The bed looks repairable from below. I won't know for sure until I take that plate off. was thinking of buying one from someone who has removed theirs and using cuts from that to repair mine!

I have a single cab, but single cab panels are impossible to get hold of whereas crewcab panels are only near impossible to get hold of, so I have crew cab panels I was going to adapt

    Will pm you

Auto Craft are supposedly making me a side panel at the moment - which is what is delaying the work on my pickup. The are adapting the Early one that they do - removing the petrol flap and possible changing the wheel arch.

I spoke to the chap at Auto craft when I was at Stanford hall. Nice guy, can't remember his name though.

Enjoy the ride mate.. You know what my resto threads are like. It will make you cringe. smile, despair, bored and feel relieved, sometimes all in one day!

Where else can you get free humour at someone else's expense like you do on tlb?

I think Dave has the knowledge here. apparently the inner sills are standard latebay as I suspected ( cos I measured mine on the Westy ) and the outer sills are imilar to a splitty. so I presume you buy splitty outers and adapt them slightly!

Alex at vwh reckons the drainage holes on the inner don't line up though?
