Its a bit of a lottery as we have a number of weekends already booked up. Will be there if available as only just up A1 from me.
iv spent many a cold night building on the drive he he will check on the date and pray to god my girl gets there he he !!
Its in south yorkshire, look up clumber park campsite as theyre next to each other really, we should see if we can have a bbq or something?
@theBusmonkey your chosen workshop may not thank you for your cash comment on a public forum, though the inland revenue might.
Cash meets a frown at my place. I need money in the bank to pay for stuff and the cheeky buggers charge a % to deposit it!
I know, bless the Banks. Poor old RBS has got 8.2 billion losses to make up. Who'd begrudge them their little %age
Me and the boys are going for a ride out to Clumber today, walk the dog, have a kick about and fry some sausages for lunch. Will probably be parked up on the grass near the cricket ground.
Clumbers not Yorkshire, it's Nottinghamshire and proud youth http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/clumber-park/
Hope you have a good one. I shall be surveying the scene of devastation that purports to be a camper van. Cant believe how far backwards I keep going in trying to get it back on the road. Ho-hum! Incidentally, just to update. Failed MOT on a rusty cross member and then a front bumpstop horn fell off the beam later in the day. Was hoping to be worried about upholstery by now. DOH!
Was really busy, an orienteering event was on. We watched people getting tired while frying up some lunch then had a nice gentle walk.
Bummer. Crossmember is a faff to replace for what it is. I'm doing both on a bus at the moment. The main loom and heater pipe both run through it, I expect you knew that. The front one is sort of trapped inside the chassis and V difficult to get in position with all the conduits and stuff.
Thinking of going up to Clumber on Saturday 22th lunch time and doing some sausage / bacon cobs if anyone is interested.
