very nice indeed. Can I ask where you got the seals round the louvred windows? I've got similar windows on mine but no seals and there's gaping gaps of about 2mm between the windows, pretty drafty. :-
I think jk or heritage do them...mine are there from original mine are a grey colour, I've just checked jk and they do the outer seal http://www.justkampers.com/shop/t2-bay-window/original-parts/windows-seals/westfalia-louvered-window-seal-outer-seal-only-j10946.html HTH Darren
yeah all original, but not to my taste, is very heavy and I dont like the way it blocks out the light to the side window, so over the winter it'll be coming out and a bespoke one will be made for it. I was a carpenter/jointer before I trained as a staff nurse. I'll snap a few photos of it later today, I've got the engine and gear box out at the moment, putting in my 1641 that I had in my '73 bay but using the '68 box as its real smooth. changing the clutch today as they are different sizes Darren
ta mate, hopefully be able to meet a few of you guys at some shows at some point in the near future, although I think everybody in country comes down here (penzance cornwall) so I'll look out for you on the road, loads of late bays down here at the moment 8)
I'm not a fan of earlies. Nothing personal, it's a generation thing but l seriously do like yours. I've just seen it in "show us yours Westfalia" thread and l was genuinely blown away by its beauty.
