Dubs at the Castle

Discussion in 'Shows Events You've Missed unless you went' started by Perez_In_Wales, Aug 16, 2021.

  1. Hi all..

I heard Dubs at the Castle (Caldicot Castle) is going ahead this year (17-19 Sept). I've never been to one before and was wondering what the crack is. It seems the only tickets available are for camping out but we live locally so would only want day tickets.

Is it really just a big camp out with a bit of music?

Isn't that what they all are?

  3. And don't forget, beer, wine, or your social lubricant of choice :D

    And a washing machine brazier.

Looks like a nice spot.

One of my favourite shows of the year. Guys that run this are right into all the Early shenanigans and bays :) Theres a little dragon there that might even talk to you ;) Camping tickets I believe are sold out already but day tickets will usually be available on the day and not in advance. I’m pretty sure that’s how it works
On the Saturday, most of the Earlies in attendance will be on display on the lawns in the castle some on the Sunday too if anybody is actually awake at nine o’clock. I try to make both. Show and shine on a Sunday in a separate area. It’s a good family friendly show with lots going on all weekend. I’m still wrestling with mine trying to get a nice running motor and he’s fighting me all the way.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,and we call it fun :)
