Is this show evolving into a bit of a pi55 up, is a place where you can ignore whats happening in the hall, sit round the fire at night, talk s4ite and get leathered

 

I think most shows go that way after you've been around a few years don't they? There is a bar there which is a bit warmer than the camping area but most of the people who go are in groups. There is a bit of an autojumble element and a reasonable show and shine. The rest of the stalls we'll have seen many times before. I've camped there the last three years and had a laugh each time, also met a few more folk off here.

 

i went sunday only this year and met a few newbies, also got to see poppy's horsebox.
even if i go next year i'll be able to buy t5 tat.

 

Last time I went I had my Earlybay around 2004/5, it was either the late Autumn one or the early Spring one I can't quite remember if they did both back then I do know that at the time is was popular a bit like Vanfest was but there was'nt as many shows like now. back then there was no internet shopping so people went for the deals, things have changed these days but still, if Congi brings me that bottle of blue he owes me I might come and sup it

 

yeah they used to do a november one and a february one, they tried changing the november one to a "all makes" including golfs and stuff.... lead baloon time...... shame really as the november one was ok, to be fair i doubt i'll camp as i ain't gonna have a propex or suchlike by then and to be fair it's such a ballache with the dogs and no awning.... maybe if there's a "slim" chance mrs roo didn't wanna go and gave me a pass out i'd brave it on my own without heat but who knows..... to be fair i'm focussing getting the van done for easter which is in march this year.
