it has topped 135 in the past so quite a remarkable bus and was originally built along with 3 others 20 ish years ago

It’s a 3.9 v8 with nitrous and hot cam with 4barrel edelbrock holly headers freeway flyer box and massive tyres at the rear

 

A 14 second Bug quite a handful, must be something else in a T25

There are others where I looked better and clutch wasn’t slipping lol

 

Nevertheless, a 14 second quarter in a Bus

 

To be honest the bus runs straight as a die and brakes work great, a bug is a totally different experience I would say
Having said that the record for an air cooled bug is sub 10 seconds I think by J Wooton

 

That’s what the slips say but I was gripping the wheel too hard to notice lol, my sweetest run was my slowest and the one I will always remember, shame the clutch was slipping
