i know custom adn commercial can do a complete set of locks with matching keys so they may be able to help you with another lock barrel or fix yours?
Hello there C and C do sell individual locks, i'm sure others do as well. Once you have got the barrel you can change the insides (the main locking leaves) of the barrel to fit your key. There is a thread in the mech and tech pages on here. I am computer illiterate so can not put the thread in here. The process once you have the barrel is easy. I even managed to complete it earlier this year. If you have any problems i can guide you into the thread manually Duncan
It depends why it came out. Has the barrel split, are the little wafers fubar, is the inside of the handle worn. There should be a lever thing screwed to the back end of the barrel to hold it in place.
buy a cheap second hand handle remove the barrel from the handle (1x philips screw at rear) use the new barrel with your original tumblers if you missing a tumbler try one at a time from the new barrel with the key in till you get the right one that level with the barrel
oh poo Some scrote has screwdriverd my rhs door lock and the sliding door lock so i need to replace them Matching off the keys i have would be nice Theres no cheap off the shelf option for that then?
pull the barrels out, they may have only damaged the cover, i have a few spare handles and barrels, its not to hard to match keys to barrels
How much would you charge me to get all my door locks on one key if i pulled the barrels dude? I have a key for the ignition,a key that does the drivers door and the rear hatch and a key for the fuel cap Id be over the moon if i had one key for all the doors and the ignition and fuel were seperate
dont you want one key for all the doors including the ignition? is the petrol flap a different key type(short one) ?
Id like them seperate That way i can give the keys to the kids so they can play in the bus but ive still got the ignition and fuel flap key I didnt know you could have every lock on one key?
yup you can have them all on one key, most people prefer it that way, how many need altering? all of them engine lid tailgate passenger door drivers door sliding door filler flap gotta go do some chores and off to bed now, depend how many you need doing i suppose. pm me if you like
