It's painfully slow watching it on Flight 24. Must have been scary on a bombing raid over Germany just sat there. Makes you think. My grandfather was an air gunner in. RAAF squadron flying out of Lybia bombing Italy during WWII. He had his turret shot off.

Coincidenally read this thread the other day and on Saturday a Lancaster flew (very low and I mean low) over my house! Noisy buggers aren't they! Fantastic sight!
