The four Olympus are close to the end of the service life too, Rolls Royce don't want to help, the spare turbines are in a similar situation. They had a couple of good ones but they're on the aircraft, they won't live forever
Managed to get another piece of the Pat Burgess collection last night - A 13inch section of Hurricane propeller still covered in its laminate from a 1940 crash site That collection must be drying up now as not much available. Mrs Mabel will be pleased when i tell her.....
