just measured one hanging in my garage and it`s 1.5mm (1.54mm to be precise!) and the end fitting is 4mm why do you need to know???
Cheers dude. My cable got frayed when refitting so i'm making a back up clamp to arm, back it up (lol) as it came off recently. Much easier than replacing the cable which is fine.
