  2. Hi,

Thanks for the reply and extra pics and information. Very helpful (and without a manual from Devon themselves, your pics have helped me to verify the originality of my conversion). No - the one thing I didn't get was that little front seat frame (apart from 3 table legs that is). I wondered if it was something you put together yourself first, when I saw it. Would be a useful addition. The rest of the furniture is exactly as your van. Can't believe its taken me so long to get on this site as I've really learnt something today.

I wonder how many original interiors there are left? Certainly worth preserving you think? I was very keen to get a bus as near to original as poss - not lowered etc. Will have alook at that coolbox suggestion - yes mine looks as yours did before you changed it. Will let you know if any better fridge related solutions come to mind. Best to you..

  3. Hi ive been reading the thread re fridge , i have original interior in my eurovette all be it with some colour changes and a fridge that fits under the original sink, some pics for you, im not sure exactly when it was fitted but its over 20years i think??. Dont know if these are still available secondhand, but mine works a treat. Love your original bus by the way its a gem. 8)

  7. Wow (I know it's an old thread!), but that's lovely. Ours is a Eurovette, but just the RnR bed and sink cupboard bit remain. Is that original upholstery?

  8. Hi, only just seen your comment, yes it's all original as far as I can tell. One previous owner, the van you want to find!

  9. Nice bus - same interior as my old late bay I sold to the brother-in-law.

    Is it Sumatra Green?

  10. By the way, the brother in law is considering ripping out all the original furniture to modernise the bus so if anyone is after some original eurovette interior let me know and i'll speak to him.

  13. This looks like just the sort of thing that I need for Daisy!! Where did you get the frame from for the back?

I see there are ZIEBART certificates in the paperwork....................thats why she has survived!!
Mine is in similar condition after 37 years, also Ziebarted at birth.

  15. Bhubesi, that Ziebart invoice from 1974 was for a power wash + the ziebart treatment, £70.20 including VAT not cheap at the time I bet but what an investment!

DaisyJuckes, as for the frame, if you mean the middle seat it's part of the kit for this Devon conversion and is shown in the instruction book, you don't see so many of them as I guess they get left out & lost when vans get sold on.

    Grub, yes that's the colour

    Thanks for the interest

Didnt the original pop top bellows have plastic windows...? Mine has..

  17. Love the originality of this bus...

  18. My bus was originally a Eurovette...very similar in terms of originality...had all the associated bits and pieces with it, but had the later roof and a louvre window on driver's side...looking back it was a minter compared to some of the buses that pass themselves off as excellent original condition (especially Devon conversions as they are pretty sh*t...let's be honest!) Ran it like this for a year or so, but soon got peed-off with the set up...as you do:rolleyes:

If someone needs some table legs, buddy seat legs (oh yes!) and a mint refurbished swing out cooker hinge, plus aluminium rail for table (and also the table) mid 70's Devon Eurovette, all dry stored, in great condition, let me know...they're gathering dust, unlike the original units which are actually dust

  19. That bus is fantastic!!!
    An amazing find!!!
