Something I've been thinking about for some time, years in fact, is the possibility of having a batch of repro Devon dash stickers made up. For those unaware, it appears that for some time during the 1970's (possibly also late 60's?) Devon Conversions were in the habit of sticking a circular 'badge' of approx. 2" (52mm) diameter onto the centre of the dashboard, the design of which included the conversion name, ie, Caravette, Torvette, Devonette etc.... I've managed to find very few images online depicting these, presumably they became tired looking and were removed by their owners decades ago - if in fact they were fitted to all Devon campers? Below are a few examples I've managed to find although several years ago I did have a folder with more and better images which I've lost. They appear to have been printed onto a glossy vinyl but maybe you know different? So the first question is, does anyone have any better images or even better still have an in tact sticker on your dash which you could post a pic of here? The second question is, would any Devon owners actually be interested in getting their hands on a repro sticker? I can understand that to some they might be considered a bit ugly and ill proportioned on a nicely restored dash but you can't beat a bit of originality. Any thoughts?
If you'd like a resin domed sticker version of this, I can do that for you once you have the design. I can't do ordinary flat vinyl though. I might be able to recreate the artwork if you can get me decent pictures of what you want.
Thanks for the offer but it seems not much interest in these so if I ever did pursue it I'd probably keep things as simple as possible and just have a small batch of flat vinyl stickers made up.
Out of interest, is there a way of telling which Devon conversion I have (being that the original interior is long gone)? I like the idea of a ‘sun lander’ but just because it sounds exotic. (I’d have a domed resin badge)

Was also thinking of having a batch made up just reading "DEVON CONVERSIONS" for those that that don't know which version they have/had but again, probably not enough interest; maybe even look into something with the Devon beaver design? And yes, I do currently have too much time on my hands as still out of action with wire pins in my left ring finger
Hi guys, yes I certainly can get special orders made up, Eurovette, Moonraker etc, the issue however is going to be cost. The actual unit cost is very small but there is a minimum order from the printers for each individual design (approx 48 stickers) which potentially leaves me out of pocket if I only sell a handful of each. So in order to make them viable, and I'm really thinking as I type, we'd maybe be looking at a minimum order of say 4 x stickers for (maybe) £4 delivered. This isn't a for sale ad, just me sounding you guys out to see if me doing specials would be viable for us all. So those that would want anything other than the 'Caravette' stickers, does £4 ish for a minimum of 4 (inc p&p) sound within reason?
Sounds very reasonable to me. But definitely don’t want you to be out of pocket so don’t short yourself
