Is your van really eBay scam crap?

 

I think i bought my bus before eBay existed....

You're way too late, I've already said that.

 

I was trying to think how long I've owned it, for a thread the other day....I like to kid myself that it's been off-road for a couple of years, buy in reality I've lost count....must dig out my receipt....it's engraved on a stone tablet somewhere....

 

We've had our for about 6 years now and I think the longer you own one the more of an emotional attachment you develop which is totally different to other vehicles which in my eyes are just tools to do a job.

I agree...but for a couple of years i went thru a period of emotional detestment....long story....but happy with it now

Good question...I bought it on a bit of a whim, as a mate of mine had one...drove it for a few years and then decided to restore it, as I had access to the space, tools and time, where I used to work. Stuff happens, plans change and during this time, I got totally shafted by a so-called paint sprayer...this coincided with me moving to Ireland. That didn't work out, so came back to Bolton. The bus featured in this volatile time of my life, and i had zero impetus to finish it....time moves on...I do bits of fettling here and there and eventually, it's virtually finished. It's been virtually finished for several years

So will I ever sell it?....probably, but not in the foreseeable....

 

What on earth would i want to do that for?
