Went on a lovely railway walk to Keswick today

 

Keswick was fantastic

 

LOve the raiway walk - nice and easy!! You off to the climbing centre - thats near where you are!

After my earlier whinges about not camping in this weather I wish I was there. Its possibly my favourite place and I wish I was there. Spent many a "moment" looking out over Derwentwater.

 

Thats funny - you cant write a word that has ***** in it LOL

 

Roll on the weekend those views are stunning

 

Come on dicky you know you want to come up at the weekend

 

Get your bus in a couple of those pictures and you'll be in next years calendar.

Its a good walk into Kewick down the line...last time I did that one we got v. drunk and walked the bridge curve itself on the way back to camp..all a bit silly in the wet and dark!!

 

Your absolutely right para but its a bloody long way from here and it being Easter, and what not, Im expected to be with the family, who most definately wont be up for it!! Of all the places in the world to tempt me with this is the place. If you go down borrowdale to Ashness bridge (up towards Watendlath) and not much further up theres a nice view over the lake and a good spot for a wee smoke. You can drive up there and park snow permitting.
