David "Lord" Congi, Camping Legend

I txt Congi earlier to see if he'd still gone camping up in the lakes in this weather, I was gonna be meeting him before Springcamp somewhere up there, The blokes a legend here's his reply " Jeez blizzard waiting for the farmer to dig me out, stuck on a road" What a nutter He's made it to a site and all's well.

Seriously if I wasn't working this weekend I would have joined him. Ah well Monday it is then. Hope they've gritted as much as my teeth

He's just sent this one of the road, Whiskeys kicking in now and he's warming up

 

Message is - avoid Laphroaig

 

Think spring camp should be Xmas themed... I'll dig out the mini Xmas tree and Xmas bunting x

The road into Dent is over a mountain, I reckon it'll be cut off right now and the forcast aint looking good for next week

 

We'll get there somehow x

 

I had to get dragged out of the 1st road leading to the farm , luckily some body was stuck just in front of me and there mate came in a Landy and towed me back, then had to reverse back down the mountain, luckily the 2nd road i got stuck in was near the farm ands the farmer came with his tractor and shoveled the drifts. Wish I had pictures of the 1st road but was to hectic .
