Dash to voltage reg wire

Which terminal does the wire from the voltage regulator go to the dash G light ??

The terminal that isn’t connected to +12v. The bulbholder should be insulated from the metal backplate.

 

It goes to a bulb holder which you put into the hole that has the generator light

 

bad description on my part .. which terminal on the voltage reg does the blue wire go

 

Type 4 engine ? There’s a dangling wire from the regulator, should have 3 terminals on it and one comes back out I think , got a picture of your alternator wiring? And bottom of your regulator?

Voltage regulator was swopped for a new one and yes type 4 engine

 

Perfect ...

But technical terminology can be extremely confusing.
