Nice to see you back, Darren. Can we make this thread as long as the last one! Shame you are selling. You WILL buy another one, l know, when the time's right. No doubt we will hear from you again!
Hope you had a decent McHanic fit your new engine and not one of the charlatans you used last time?! What percentage is the "dealer" taking?
Good luck with the sale darren. It makes me chuckle to read of peeps pulling their hair out because they've spent £100 on garage labour trying to get engine going, then dosh out £3k without a worry on a whole engine.
I thought that. Especially just to sell it on. Presumably a £3k engine won't add anything like £3k to the sale price?
Hard to say, not easy to sell a bus that won't drive? It's not just Darren follows this logic though, it's very common. If I were buying engine just to sell, I'd go for the cheapest available with warrenty?
Maybe. As I said I don't remember the details but consensus at the time seemed to he that they were useless.
Hi again - hope you get a good price when you sell - good luck with your new life in Ireland - I believe the roads there are great for driving VW T2 campers
