    Must collect from Devon. I’ve forgotten exactly where but am awaiting a text from my sister!

    Can you get me the dimensions of the trailer folded up , without the length of the tow bar please ?
    I want to know if it will fit on the back of my pickup without wheels and hitch!

    Evening folks,

    Been speaking to my sister tonight. The trailer tent is 20 yrs old but in good condition for the age. They don’t think there are any leaks. They bought it for when the kids were younger but now the kids have grown up it’s not being used and they’re moving house with nowhere at the new place.

    They’d sooner it go to folk who will enjoy using it but will put it on fb if it doesn’t sell fairly quickly.

    Possibly! Maybe they will throw the dog in, tho as it’s massive and dislikes anyone apart from it’s owners I wouldn’t bother :)

    Flakey if you went this route and removed it from the trailer, I'd go halves with you and have the trailer part :thumbsup:

    I’d only be taking off the axles and draw bar, the box would have to stay to keep the tent bit together!

    Sorry I was being thick. I just fancy building a teardrop to tow behind my buggy. I'm looking for a lightweight trailer frame for it - should probably finish the bus first!

    All you need for a teardrop is a big T frame , indespension unit with wheel on each short side and a tow hitch on the long end!
    Bit like a boat trailer really.

    i remember seeing one like this turn up on the campsite in the 70's.... i was in awe of it, so was my dad. we watched it go up in great detail, it was like magic!
    sadly, it was only me and dad that loved camping so we never got one :( still, lots of fond memories of the big blue and orange frame tent with hanging pantry and the b/w telly running off his car battery on rainy mornings :D

    @Flakey if you can convert this to fit on the back of your pickup... you'll be off the naughty list!
