This is true, but you only have to step over it. With your old bus it was a pita. I could see that. Same as baygeekster. He seems to be forever walking around his bus when we camp.

To breath a little more life into the original thread....

In volksworld a few months back there was a van with a z shaped stand for two cup holders in its walk through (not sure if it's someone on here?)

Also, I've seen cup holders mounted into a westfalia type dash table, which is useful for those who like to walk through!

  4. Mines is probably half the height of the others I've seen so I can still step over it easily , that's all the material I had left to be honest or I would have probably made it bigger but it's big enough. . Just trying to knock up something out of nothing. Instead of the two holes for cups or cans I opted for the black pop out drinks holder which I'll fit into a cut out on the front. Hoping to finish it on Saturday or Sunday so I'll post some pics then.

  5. I'd like to see it. I too would like something to stop latte flying around the van but don't want to block the walk through..

  6. Pics would be good:theforce:

  7. I only drink alcohol. So a cup holder would only be good on short journeys, 5 miles or less..

  8. Total cost £8.99
Functional and rustic. Goes well i reckon & I can step over it to get in the back

  9. Me three, something unobtrusive to hold the coffee would be good, if I can make it match a Devon interior all the better.

  10. Sorry to resurrect an old post @Lazy Andy , but is this a MadMatz BusBox?

Looks similar, but slightly different too!

Inspiration taken from Bus Box and one SJH were selling for £375 on eBay!

Took the best bits from both and put my own stamp on it!

  12. Do you remember where you got the cup rings from, or what they're called?

Might need to add them to my BusBox!

Are those two smaller holes the filler holes? I've been using those toilets wrong for all these years.

  18. Depends what you are filling it with!

I very much doubt I could fill that even on a warm day :gnome:

  19. Hi,

Could I ask what's the Make/Model of the toilet you have? Been looking for one that fits in-between the front seats for ages.

    Thanks,
    Ash

  20. Hi Ash it's a dometic 872 I think it's a bit more pricey but it's the only one we could find to fit, we wanted it so we can section off the cab for privacy (sound and smell is another matter!) It's more a just in case thing but we are happy with it!
