Surely the honourable thing would have been to challenge Dom to a bit of fisticuffs, “Right Cummings you oik, I’ll bally well box your ears for saying rude things about Carrie! Put em up!”

Well - try not to feel too sorry for Dominic Cummings. He is apparently 'leading' something called operation Moonshot - its just spunking £100 BILLION pounds of UK taxpayers money in to private companies. This is a man whose only qualification is a degree in art.

check my maths. 100,000,000,000 divided by say 100,000,000 people (being kind) is a thousand pounds each. I'll take the £1,000 please and do without the vaccine.

There are so many definitions of a billion writers should not use the word.

  8. Vaccines are not mandatory in the UK. According to the government's own guidance "an individual must be given enough information to enable them to make a decision before they can give consent.”

Consider this government's past record on 'information'.

The way to circumvent their own guidance is to systematically revoke an individual's rights to access other necessities (eg. right to travel etc.) without demonstrable proof that you've been vaccinated, by continually extending the Civil contingencies legislation. Don't be surprised when the government roll out 'immunity passports' that need updating on a regular basis, or a fast-track certificate of compliance for those who can afford it. Ker-ching!

That is actually part of Moonshot.

Check out how the Danish reacted to compulsory vaccinations.

  10. Under the proposed new law, the Danish Health authority would have "the right to define groups of people who must be vaccinated in order to contain and eliminate a 'dangerous disease’; and coercing people who refuse to have the vaccine in certain circumstances ‘through physical detainment, with police allowed to assist’. It's as well to remind people that the 'group of people' most affected by coronavirus are BAME, and low paid workers...

Thin end of a totalitarian wedge. Hitler would be proud. Whatever next? State sterilization? Covid Camps?

  11. I’ve had more inoculations than I’d care to mention ... so I won’t. Anyone who’s been in the services has had more pricks than a...... better leave that there. Had a flu jab to hopefully prevent me developing flu and passing it on. Was I wrong? Am I condoning the erosion of individual rights I wonder?

I think many of us are old enough and scared enough of Thalidomide to be circumspect of any new drug, leave alone be compelled to take it.

Physical state intervention is the next logical step of horror I guess.

There was a good article in TV recently where they read out a very scary list of possible side effects of a drug such as:

"It can cause side effects such as:
feeling and being sick (nausea and vomiting)
    stomach pain.
    feeling tired or sleepy.
black poo and blood in your vomit – a sign of bleeding in your stomach.
    ringing in your ears (tinnitus)
difficulty breathing or changes in your heart rate (slower or faster)"

    Generally known as Ibuprofen!

I'd hate to see it being forced on people but there is a balance to be had somewhere in this mess between civil liberties (that I'll fight all day for) and social responsibility ( that I also believe in!)o_O

  16. You may not be familiar with The Nuremburg Code (or the more recent Declaration of Helsinki) but following the atrocities that were committed in the name of medical research by various countries, the principle of 'informed consent' was enshrined in international laws concerning medical ethics. This was principally aimed at medical research but extends in spirit to vaccination. My comment was to highlight that certain countries are seeking to create new laws which do away with this principle of 'informed consent', meaning that individuals can be forcibly vaccinated against their will. Human rights are often circumvented in times of 'crisis' and once eroded are notoriously difficult to re-establish. In light of the UK Health Secretary's failing to rule this out, I find this very alarming, hence my remarks. If enforced vaccination is fine by you, then at least make a case for it.

State sterilization could well come in the future ...possibly under a very militant green party or under the cosh of a green orientated dictatorship .
Over population is an enormous future concern . It's unsustainable, something that all parties have ignored .

Ask any party if they have any future policies on over population ...they haven't .
Or we could just have a Logan's Run type policy ...But Hay we have a vaccine , so that's put pay to that .
