That’s me done for the first one Astral Zenecal special Stella edition with added Sauvignon Blanc just in case I wobbled after so no one would notice. Went straight in the pub after for a couple of pints then home for a glass of wine, perfect day off . Mrs Ozziedog said I went a bit delirious last night Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, jabbed yesterday but right as rain
P.S. Spent my fifteen minutes of check time wandering up and Down the middle of Lidl . Luckily they were out of jackhammers and mountaineering stuff So I escaped with my plastique completely intact. Ozziedog,,,,,,,dint really go in the pub
Mrs b had her Oxford jab thru work.. and spent the whole of the next day shivering in bed...a mini flu effect..
It seems totally random. When I get the call I will tell work to write me off for the following day. I'm either genuinely ill or gaining a day. (knowing my luck it'll be a Friday )
Ahh nonsense nipper what you need is a skin full o gin.... the reason you got a dead arm is because Willy didstop Walloped you on your BCG jab arm nipper
I’m 59 and a carer. Not had a letter from my GP . I had to book online on Saturday and can’t get one for over 2 weeks. Not a great system
The NHS must be doing well in your local area according to the NHS site you can only apply if you are over 55 nationally
Im 59, I applied on Friday night, I would have to wait 2 weeks in my town. I got in the next day at a mass centre 20 mins away
Has anyone been to one of the mass centres, I wonder if they were all the same. The staff were great, I queued in an Alton Tower zig zag thing, When I got to the end I thought here it comes, no, directed to another queue, it ended at a big door, I thought here it comes, no, it was like a big cinema with no screen, I waited for about an hour, then was ushered out into a corridor where I queued. and eventually ended up in a room with the sister from my local health centre, all well worth it mind,!!!! Many thanks to the NHS staff and all the volunteers
I had mine at the chemist shop in a little local shopping centre. They now put up a sign in the afternoon allowing anyone to come a d have their jab. When peeps dint turn up for whatever reason initially, they gave the volunteers the jabs that were left over, then they got the vollies to ring their friends and famalam, now they’re putting up signs for anyone passing to come a d get jabbed. I’d imagine that other facilities are doing likewise as the stuff cannot be re used the following day. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,just a heads up for those waiting
Those that feel they should have had it but haven't ! Maybe they are doing the better areas first ? I had mine yesterday and I am 12
And once we have been round the two vaccinations round, we will need the booster for next winter based on what is still killing people.. and so on for years.
Had my first one today, very easy getting the actual jab... Until I got a text to say I'd missed my appointment and I have to book again, round and round the option 1, option 2 fiasco ...eventually speaking to a real person who fobbed me off for another 24 hours
