Offering for sale my Ingersoll - Rand compressor, This bad boy will blow your socks off... 56 CFM yep you read that right 56 CFM of wonderfully windy compressed air.... more than enough in fact to operate all you air tools at once while the wife frantically blasts away with the new sandblast cabinet you'll now be able to feed ... this is a serious compressor, its 3 phase, before you ask you might want to add a reservoir tank but it will run and run providing more air that you can use ... Forget the totty wee 14 / 18 CFM air makers, this bad boy has serious wind, For all this wind you might imagine a lofty price, but no, a fairly decent number actually and a very fair one at that .. Im looking for a number in the region of £700.. I am open to sensible offers.. pallet delivery within the UK would be no more than £100... Comp. has been well looked after and continually and recently serviced for insurance liability in the enviroment in which it was working .. size wise its 1.2mtr x 1.2mtr x 700 and it weighs in around 350kgs....
Sorry for the delay, had a look at the owner manual and spec sheet, the motor is 14 HP ... My poor wee phase converter at home is only good for 3 HP,
in a month or two i will have got to this on the importance list, if you still have it then i will be in touch. First is gunwash machine to pay for.
sorry to disappoint you.. It was starting to take up space, I had a decent offer and let it go. I needed some cash for new carbs, and it was right in the firing line... It went to a good home, living on providing wind for VW resto's, and the rest of the garages in the estate by the sound of it .. It will be like busses, when one passes another one comes along... youll get a good un..
TBH as much as I would've loved to have this in my workshop, I would struggle to run it.... Way to powerful for a phase converter, and you'd need a fairly hefty generator to run it!!
It would cost several thousand, as that would mean running an extra line from the bottom of the road, then upgrading all of the existing mains feed on the site... I don't think my landlord would suck that one up...
You never know. I requested one for my garage years ago. Spokento an engineer form the local distribution company and there was a service running about 400 mm from one corner of the building. Big hole, tee joint etc. Job done. I get your pount though.
