I pushed it from the front of the van if I remember correctly. The hardest part was getting it through the flexi tube near the gearbox end. Think I removed the flexi tube, pushed the cable through then re-fitted the flexi.
Adjusting the wingnut is a bit trial and error to get it in the right place to operate the clutch properly.
They tend to stretch a bit over the first few journeys so may need re-adjusting after a while.
I did it in the dark with a torch so it must be fairly easy!

  3. Good I am going be doing it in the dark don't think I ve got a flexi tube on it though
I know something got the flexi tube thought it was the bug though
It has to be bent a certain about the bus has got some sort or tensioner thing on it near the back not the threaded bit with the wing nut on it

The tensioner is the flexi tube. Its sort of an "S" ish shaped fairly hard rubber conduit.

  5. No not got that bit
It's like a metal thing that sits on the cable with a screw to turn which I assume adds extra tension

The flexi conduit is on the side of the gearbox. Make sure it is greased up. If anything l always replace it. It's very cheap. Also check you have the rubber dust covers on the conduit.

The tricky part is the pedal end. You need to remove it. You can do it without removing the pedal but it is awkward.

There should also be free play at tw pedal. What engine is yours??

    17/18/2000 3/8 to 1" free play

  7. 1600 but defo no conduit over the gearbox

  8. You'll need the flexi conduit, or you'll have terrible clutch judder. I'm sure you've got one.

JK sell a kit with the lot in. Bit of a chore, but pretty straightforward to fit.

  9. Not had any clutch judder it worked fine apart from the cable snapping been like it since I had nearly 2 years ago

I see. Just taken a look over a RHD bus and I see it's much easier to change than on a LHD and the pedal doesn't have to be removed.

  16. The cables all fitted and good now although every now and again I get a slight clutch slip in 3rd do you think it may be over adjusted its a new clutch last may

Could be. How much free play do you have at the pedal?? And is there any slackness at the clutch arm on the gearbox??

Failing that it could be the rear crankcase seal :( Any signs of oil around the join between engine and gearbox??

  18. There s a bit of oil at the crankcase but it is a new seal as that's why it had a new clutch last time but there's all ways a bit of oil there all ways has been
I don't think there any play on the arm
