Not a big fan if him but it was hilarious watching Matt Baker and Alex Jones cringing when he said all striking public sector workers should "be taken out and shot in front of their families"........and that when his train is stopped at reading because if a " jumper" they shouldn't stop... As once they has been " exploded" " stopping isn't going to make then better"
I think he's become a bit of a caricature of himself these days, but it does make a change for someone to say stuff and not give a monkeys for what anybody thinks
Must admit did think it a bit daft of them to get him on knowing there would be a strike , he was bound to be controversial
They knew what they were doing. Everyone wins. They get publicity, he gets publicity, they get to blame him for the comments, he gets to maintain his controversial image.
Base a career in car related stuff, yet mostly play on not knowing how a spanner works and hitting things with a spanner. Fail to see why, given he plays on being inept, that anyone would then listen to him as he goes for the obvious. Its just humour - he doesn't for me say what everyone is thinking - more what is fairly obvious and unnecessary - the fact that he doesn't care is the funny bit maybe.
The man's an entertainer. Once you realise his tongue in firmly in his cheek I find him really funny. As above ^ he was booked specially for the strike.
