What was wrong with the bus to warrant the automobile drawing and quartering ,and how much for the floor and engine hatch section as a matter of interest ?

Just the flat section where the engine hatch is ...have toyed with the idea of fitting one in ,as mine was a 1600 converted to type 4 . But i suppose it,s quite a lot of work to have the luxury of looking down on your engine as apposed to squeezing your face in ...it's the snail fan that gets in the way .
Have you ever done an engine hatch conversion Dave ?

That thought has crossed my mind a number of times too, it's even worse when you've helped out on a Bus with one, and wonder why they aren't all like this.

Is yours not a 72 crossover? The ones with factory 1700 type-4 didn't have an engine hatch. Grr.

It helps if you can live without the chuffing great fan dangling from the roof and it's unwieldy air ducting.
