You could always use the diesel tank supplied, run it on diesel fit he tank in the engine bay

I've been on a Facebook page for these heaters for a few weeks now..not interested in buying one as I have a propex but after reading the reports on there and the fact that I noticed that @Poptop2 was still alive yesterday - I'd fit one instead of paying twice the price for a propex.
The only negative comments ( and quite regularly) are they often arrive damaged and its pot luck which controller you get ( the latest being an LCD type being preferred) I there are some uk resellers now so would opt for one of them for a lower chance of being damaged in transit.

Yes to being used while driving. You must have the exhaust pointing backwards though ( obvious, but needed saying ) The controller is just a basic thermostat type turn switch.

  8. And your better of with the basic thermostat as the LCD go wrong a lot plus they make the unit run different which can lead to the unit Sooting up ...plus people usually buy the 5000 and there to big for are vans so they get sooted up because you have to run them.low all the time.... one more thing I learne is if you do run them low for a long time before turning of run them flat out for ten minutes to clear them out

some are saying to use kerosene, but i also have access to Red.... ive gone for the 2kw heater, where did you fit yours ? i'm thinking underneath between the chassis rails then pipe into the existing system, although all i have is the valve underneath for the rear vent between the seats

  12. Run it on red or white and every so often put it on full heat to clear it out if you have been running low for long time. Iv got 2kw the 5kw ok but it's to big for are vans so runs on low all the time and clogs up with soot .I put mine under the rear seat and pump underneath with filter then put 5l tank in engine bay i didn' want mine underneath as it will be in all the road crap of the wheels plus I jet wash the underneath of mine sometimes.

I'm hoping between the chassis rails with the undertray on it should keep it fairly clean, I'm waiting for it to arrive first though because i think it will be a bit tight... a photo of you tank would be nice if possible :D:thumbsup: i was thinking maybe behind one of the front seats but then the smell could cause a problem !

  14. Yep not a problem i can get a pic but i defantly wouldn't have it inside it will smell especially in summer when the tank gets warm and vents .
