Ohm my god, Volter Wattson to replace his current name?

Do you think he'd give some resistance, or wouldn't give a flux?

  2. Shocking - you should be charged with something.

A battery of amped up charges you say?

The Sweeney would positively discharge me immediately, witnesses would attest to no switch in behaviour from me.

  8. He's fitted it on a T5 under the floor so fuel comes from the vans tank . I'm thinking of putting a small talk under the van on a quick release bracket .not convenient but it keeps the smell out of the van . Haven't found a suitable tank yet .

I sold the Webasto as the 5kw was way too much for my van so I sold it and actually bought a Chinese Planar night heater. The kit came complete and ready to install, tbh it was a piece of cake and I slung it under the van in a steel box ( one of my old tool boxes ) to protect it from being bashed about. The pictures below show it partly/trial fitted. I finally fitted it late Friday afternoon and it was ready for dubfreeze.

So last night I was kept warm at dubfreeze with one of these fitted to my van. I ran it off it's own fuel tank that I bodged into the engine compartment for this weekend and ran it off the starter batttery. It used about a litre of diesel and the battery started the van first turn this morning. It ran quiet with the silencer fitted ( not in kit £20 extra off ebay ) and I don't think I disturbed anyone with it's quiet running.

Quietly very impressed and I will now set about fitting it more permanently.

I really wasn't. They are quite well made and from reading up on them over the weeks wasn't really surprised.

  13. Doesn't really surprise me, if the Chinese have got making them to good quality cracked. Folk like Ebers rely on the name, I think. Their kit's good, but hideously overpriced.

Yes On side is fine. It's only a injected jet no balancing or any leaky bits to worry about. I got the 2kw and ran it on low last night.
