WANTED Cast iron base for lamp ....

strange I know but following on from my metre diameter factory clock thread , I am messing with a dugdills factory machine lamp ...it's a tall bugger so I need a base ...cast or steel .old and patina req . Needs to weight a bit but anything considered

 

Ni idea what you mean but what sort of weight and style?

 

Round or square 10-12" diameter /square 4/5 kg I don't really want to make something ... old looking

An old cast iron garden umbrella base, we've got one kicking about in our garden somewhere.

 

So this is done I used a steam engine regulator flange that I found under a bush in my dads garden .....
