Has anyone got any carbs for a type 4 2.0L engine ,I have solex this now and I hate them ,I would take a single carb conversion ,or twins again but prob not solex ,I need them on working condition ,so I can get myself on the road again.
I replaced my crap Solex OEM carbs with new Brosol/Solex twin carbs - they are a direct replacement for the standard standard PDSIT carbs - ran like a dream after that, but I would try & steer away from used twin carbs taken off a type 4 engine as you got to ask yourself the question 'why were they take off' ?
