Whilst we have a two ring stove in the van, we also carry a 'cartridge' type single burner for cooking outside the van. This fits perfectly on the shelf over the spice rack on the Westy. This is a brilliant piece of kit but isn't the most cost effective option and means something else to carry around. Our Continental has 2 gas bottles (Campingaz) 907's and I figured I could just use the spare bottle for cooking outside. Found this on Amazon; Looks like this when it arrived; Looks like this fitted to a 907 (also fits the smaller bottle); Has a handle and kicks out a big flame Really stable and when unscrewed (takes a couple of seconds) it fits on top of the bottle in the gas locker; Not used it to cook on yet. I'm at the beach just now, I'll report back after our stirfry later ;-) Oh, and it's spelt Carena but I can't seem to alter the title.
