Camping in the Cotswolds @ Swinbrook 3/4/5 th August 2018

As Sean says, basic toilets and a shower at the CC, about 100 mts-ish away, also toilets at the pub 250 mts ish
Disclaimer - im crap at judging distances!

 

The toilets are very clean and nice, a short walk or a jump over the fence I let my two go on their own if that's any help?! I didn't find the showers tho!

As many of you know it's Jan's birthday that weekend so she's having a 'Keith's Field Party' and she's made loads of cakes for children to ice and decorate and I'm going to be making lots of cocktails plus there's loads of beer.
Cocktails will be Brandy Sours, Dry Martinis, Pink Gins, Godfathers, Mojitos and Margueritas plus tequila sunrises and any more I can think of between then and now,
Two sleeps to go.

Edit: just read the post to Jan and she said "You should have put my age down as well" so......she's (I've just checked that she really does want me to put it in) 60.

 

Thanks Keith and @Mrs_Robo for your replies. I'm happy with whatever facilities there are but ultra-picky 16-year old wants to know how 'nice' the showers are, where they are and what the 'CC' is? I'd be happy dunking her in the stream and chucking her a bar of carbolic but apparently this is a make-or-break factor on whether she comes or not. Please help put me out of my mysery! #firstworldproblems

CC is the Cricket club pavilion, the showers are located there, as for how nice, i cant answer, never used them, hopefully someone else will comment

Showers are fine, n the Loos too, although I have to admit that I haven't used the ladies... As it's a cricket club hut in the posh Cotswolds it's all in pretty good condition.
I'm certain that we've all got horror camping loo war stories but it's really nothing like that.
PS tell her it's much better than DofE!
Come along; you and the wife'll have a blast. N if the kids don't like it then at least it'll be a character forming experience for them

Ice is a problem, we'll have one, or possibly two bags in the fridge but I'm not sure that'll be enough.
