Looks a lovely spot , we are tied up in august too,, but would love to come down if you can do it again, love it down their, well done with what you have done

Field will be open from first thing tomorrow, Glynn is going to park up in the corner by the river to reserve it, so you should be able to fish from the van
About 15 military vehicles should be showing up, I will nip down tomorrow and show you another place you can fish

 

@oscar I can organise a trip round the flour mill on Sat/Sun(about 10 mins away) if you like?

 

Not sure if we will fish yet. Hoping to drop little'un at his Nans so it'll just be me and the wife. I may chuck a rod in anyway.

I have two washing machine pits and there's a proper brick one as well.
Plus my SA son in law is bringing his real wood Braii.
Please bring as much as you can!!!

 

Can't promise but i'll try and pop in and say allo. Just been given the okay to drive again. Should I bring something? Wood or mabey adult toys?

@Mrs Top Banana Racing is sending me shopping at lunch time for the Braii goodies, is there anything you like/detest?

 

Not sure what a braii is but ill eat anything.

 

South African BBQ/smoker, he gets stuff specially from SA for it, very different taste, I think you'll like it.

 

Sounds better than the super noodles we had planned.
