Noticed water pouring down on to camper at its winter hideout (mother in-laws drive). Urgent action was required. We’ve just been laughing at what I found. How does that happen when I struggle to get grass to grow in parts of my back garden which all the care and attention I give it.

Full daylight and good drainage, not too much nutrients.

I struggle with the same.... the thickest grass grows on the path, in the borders and on the driveway whilst the lawn is threadbear!

  8. Just done the same at our place. Every downpipe was full of six feet of silt.

Its one of the most fun things you can do with a compressor and careful application of compressed air - blowing muck out of hoses - our pond fountain setup gets blocked , a blast of compressed air leads to disconnected hoses that cover you in microorganisms.

But the fountain works again, and the little decorative hand pump feature starts trickling and the water filter starts running again. A pity our cat removed and ate all of our goldfish once he discovered how to catch them.
