  2. easy to buy anywhere , supermarket, garages, shops you just need a french regulater for the bottle as uk ones are different . if you go to fuel station at a garage and ask for a new contract for gas they normally give you the regulater for 1euro eleclerc supermarket is usually cheapest and they are all over france . hope this helps

  3. is it the 907 variety? if so it is the same thread as Anglaise ,get them in supermarkets like jonno said.. 8)

eleclerc is pronounced le clerk ,super u/hyper u and carrefour also have them ,you have to take you old bottle in...Lidl and other supermarkets do not stock them...Always buy your petrol from supermarkets as well.. ;)

    happy holidays

As for buying CALOR gas I can't say I ever seen any but the the Camping Gaz is every where as said above .

  5. Yep, my understanding was that Calor gas is not readily available (and in fact is quite rare!) but Camping Gaz (907 etc) is sold all over the place hence the reason for carrying the Gaz regulator as well as the Calor one.

  6. Yes i meant camping gaz 907 and yes it was everywhere .... amazed to see it on the shelf in the supermarkets

I went up the local caravan shop to see if I could exchange a calor bottle for Gaz one No was the reply. Because the deposit on calor is about £30ish and Gaz its £60ish so we will buy over there.
