Perhaps the admins can make or that users can't post in the for sale section until they have reached 50 posts.

I never buy from anyone who has just registered.

a lot of forums do this and also insist the username is posted in the picture - not added after by computer.

  5. Maybe Admin need to make it a sellers rule that you cant ask for paypal via "gift" anyone caught doing so is banned, there is no need really, just add the small amount to the price asked.
Anyone wishing to see my ideas on other things pls paypal gift to keith@ youbinhad. Com

Morally good, but practically that would prevent the buyer atempting to contact the seller and vica versa.

  7. I think there may be an option for admin to stop people from posting on the open forum but they are still able to PM etc. I could be wrong though.

  8. yes agree but most people out there are honest and sometimes their time frame is a bit weak. so lets not shoot them too soon or have a vetting procedure to filter who joins?
Maybe not practical but assume moderators have email addresses/contact details that can be verified/searched prior to acceptance?

  10. I don't understand the PayPal thing about paying via gift. What does it mean?

  11. It's not me is it?
I get forgetful when I'm tired (as a newt).

I know I've got to take some stuff to G&C but I've forgotten what it is.

I usually give stuff away though so I don't think I have anyone's money.

if you send as a gift there are no fees to the seller so if it is £10 they get £10 - but there is then no guarantee to the buyer...... it's supposed to be for sending money to friends etc

And making it look like untaxable income. ;)

  14. We'll see....;)

Here, here. It is just a reminder that things don't always go as they should. Everyone should be vigilant
Good advise, but if you think the seller is widely trusted etc then you're less likely to worry about that I suppose. I'm still hopeful that I have not been done.

I will be there, I'm the one without hubcaps and no money ..,,,
Is there going to be a TLB

  16. Buddy hawks,
    I A M nice that's my trouble too nice some times ,
I do play fair and hope mistakenly that others do too, but what goes around comes around.
And no I haven't got the boots off yet but I will kept trying as an officer told me once the only way you give up is when your dead
The only reason I said some thing is there was some one else who wanted it and as I offered it to joker first I was honoured to do so, then when he or she never came I sent it onto the other person who dealt with it
    That's all

If I paid for something on here I'd give it about 10 days for delivery unless the seller explained upfront they were away or something. Then I'd name them for all to see.
If there was a genuine reason for the delay the seller could explain and I'd delete my post. If not it would be there for all to see.
Could we have (or have we got) a buyers / sellers feedback section? We all know some buyers are as bad as some sellers....
