do you know I can't think of anything remotely witty to reply to that. but I'm getting a little paranoid and may be going through an identity crisis
Hi Guys, thanks for all your answers……. seemed to have started some debate. Will make sure the overhead locker is well fitted (when I fit one) and won't store the table top up there either!
Don't mention Oil whatever you do I hope we've not collectively put you off your plans...it's funny how certain subjects can be quite emotive....best of luck with it whatever you decide to do
Thats not good. Hope the bitty wanter doesnt put you off. Been thinking about the seatbelt thing and buddy seats and tbh I need one in mine as I only have seating for two on the bench seat but I need something thats removeable. I also have no bulkheads and a revolving passeneger seat so its a head scratcher!
hmmm. that's a puzzler, I have forwarded your problem to George Clark's Amazing Spaces, they are sending a bloke round with a funny haircut who makes holes in Citreons.
Two short sections of T bolt rail, frenched into the floor? Hidden by carpet? Double up as a sliding Table mount?
Naturellement.... i couldn't be arsed saying " fitted into two slots routed into the floor ply so the T rails sit flush, or slightly recessed" He knows what i mean....
40x20 unistrut would be similar with 10mm or 8mm back nut , bolted through floor with appropriate washers , strong old stuff or even 40 x 40 if you wanted real beef. cut to what ever length you like and loads of fixing points , see/ google duct supports ? Just a suggestion mind .
Got the juices flowing now. Currently envisaging two rails across the van (possibly 3) slide in kitchen unit, slide in buddy seat possibly with sliding runners for forward or backwards orientation! you could even have a slide in middle seat.
what is it with you and juices this evening? It could be a great way to set-up a bus....do all the floor in diamond board....whip the seats and furniture out, you've got an empty van. Tailored carpets to cover the tracking when everything's in situ....
