Does anyone know of a garage open on Sunday in the Beaconsfield area that can test my dodgy starter?

  1. I think the wine & sun has addled my grey cells! Such a simple fix its obvious, thanks for taking the time to help it is much appreciated - does this mean I have to go home at some point??!!

    No need to rush back we have everything sorted this end, take your time & enjoy the rest of your trip

  4. Hit wife with hammer whilst trying to crank it...that'll sort your immediate problem


    Three years in my workshop and still feel I'm getting nowhere fast!

  5. You may be able to unscrew it and screw the new switch in from underneath
     
  6. Update:
    Hotwired Humfs for past two days with no problem starting, new switch arrived yesterday and back to old problems!! Still it's glorious sunshine and the wine is delicious so having a blast.
    Dutty999 did as you suggested last night, great advice ;)
