I spent the weekend camping at Bristol Volksfest, I left after finishing work at 19:30 and got there about an hour later - it was like monsoon weather!!!! My poor lil van was battling against the elements especially crossing over the windy Severn Bridge, still, I parked up and hunted for my wellies. I put my most waterproof coat on and went to see a couple of bands. Great bar prices - £2 a can and they were chilled too! I attracted "the nutter" again, still he bought me two cans of cider bless him, then I said "Thanks, got to go now" and off I went lol. Popped into the next building to watch another band and later splish-splashed my way back to the van and settled down for the night. The following morning, the rain had stopped and I noticed that one of my wellies was one third full of water! I couldn't think why but then realised that I never did buy and fit a rubber door seal to the sliding door and the rain must have found its way in and dripped into the welly..... Must put the door rubber on my "to do" list.... My daughter arrived in her Golf and then we met a fellow TLB'er named FOE - good to meet you buddy, thanks for introducing yourself. Saturday was a much better day, really hot and sunny - lots more there than last year I thought. All in all, a good weekend. (I didn't take any pics because my son had my camera as he'd gone elsewhere for the weekend.)
I know it's a bit late, but will stick some pics up in a bit. Also gutted I didn't get to meet everyone as we were parked up in the furthest field!
