Had my booster yesterday, a Pfizer on top of my two AZ shots. Was aware of a sore arm during the night when trying to switch sides, but no side effects yet.
Had my Moderna booster early yesterday am on top of 2 AZ jabs. Over 16 hours later and I'm still suffering some unpleasant side effects. Wasn't too good after my first AZ jab back in March but with that the symptoms started after 12 hours and were all but gone by 24 (high temp, back pain and general aches). No issues with the 2nd jab but with this booster, I was fine until 14 hours in when I started to feel a bit achy and developed a headache. Had a fitful night's sleep, occasionally waking with a high temperature and headache and with a very painful arm at the sight of the injection. So far all through today I've been feeling totally exhausted, with stiff and achy joints, leg and shoulder muscles and a very painful stiff neck. Back to work tomorrow (Tue/Wed is my weekend) so hopefully an improved sleep and reduced symptoms in the morning. As a precaution, I'm just administering a pint of McEwan's Champion (7.3% abv) which so far seems to be helping greatly
Guy at work had his booster Saturday felt so rough he has been off all week and tested positive this morning recons he got it at the booster centre
Just had my Moderna booster to follow up the two AZ starter kit. Let’s see how it pans out with the roulette wheel of side effects….
Word is the Moderna vaccine can give you uncontrollable flatulence when shopping in Waitrose. Be careful out there.
