can’t really name it presently as they’ve offered to put things right. I don’t think this would normally happen there. The positive side would say there’s a staff issue of communication issue - we’ll see
I don’t care if the garage puts it right or not, I think we should know who so it can be avoided. People can make their own decisions, to use or not.

Yep, I’m still talking with them, and they appear to have done some great work in the past, I’d like to think this is out of character. Let’s see how things turn out.
If it goes back to the garage for correction, please make sure you inspect it carefully before you drive it home afterwards. That way if its still not satisfactory, you can discuss the refund, whatever you do don't pay them any more money.
Just tell them that. Don’t waste your time on anything else. Worse case threaten them with small claims court, it’s easy to do.
