Hi. Probably covered before. I did have a cheap and cheerful one that I used to take fishing. But it’s broke. I would like some recommendations on something portable, not too big, not too small that’s powerful, with a punchy bass, but not too expensive.( how long is a price of string…). I’ve been looking on Amazon, but there is so many different ones. What’s your preferences? My son has a jbl speaker but it was near £100. Don’t really want to pay that, as I want to buy two new front tyres for the van. Cheeers.
Ah. 3D speaker. Not sure how it will work in a small space? Some more ‘forward facing’, I was thinking…
Ultimate ears do a good range,my son has one of the cylindrical ones, plenty of bass and a great sound Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Usually, the round shape ones, stand upright, with s speaker each side in side, for 360 sound. I’m after a axis speaker. One which lies flat with 2 speakers next to each oth for a more ‘forward’ sound.
My sons is a 360degree one but they have different variations https://www.ultimateears.com/en-gb/...vyHgaW1N1n9yH05j7qNL4U3szOjGuOURoCTZ8QAvD_BwE Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’ve got a Wonderboom 2. It’s fantastic. Great base and very loud outside if you want it to be but also good sound when quiet. Water proof, sand proof, it floats and you can drop it from a height. You can connect two phones at once and the battery lasts about 8 hours.
If these aren’t knock off they’re the best £37 you’ll spend this year https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363401521075
I have an Anker Soundcore. Dinky little thing, decent bass for the size, and battery lasts several days. Although not waterproof (it has 2.5mm audio line input and USB charging socket) it's certainly splash proof. I bought it a few years ago, so newer models are available. This one looks like it's been updated to be more waterproof: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MTB5...abc_SXH85FPG0W0PARXQ5JPX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I watched a few vids on YouTube of these. Pretty impressive. It’s going to be used for camping/fishing etc, so water proof Ness may be a factor. I seen something similar on Amazon around the same sort of size. A Tribit(?). That looks a good contender, too, as it plays in water.(so waterproof). Don’t need a big speaker, just one that lasts a couple of days battery on not loud, sort of thing.
Battery life is good. We had ours going through a good proportion of TE on a single charge - that was pretty much every afternoon until 11 or 12 at night, and it's still going strong
Agree with Crispy. I've got the little Ultimate Ears Wonderboom. Waterproof, good battery and great sound – bass is deep – perfect for dance and rock music. For a little over £50 I think it's the best you can get.
