Fist posted by Birdy 05/10/10 Made these with left overs at last years Brighton Breeze and have been part of my camping ritual ever since. Very easy and a bit different. Brace yourself for this complicated recipe. Per wrap: 2 sausages. 2 bacon. 1 egg. Some beans. Cook beans, bacon, sausages and (fry or scramble) eggs. Get one wrap. Place bacon, sausage, egg and some beans down the middle and wrap. Season and sauce to suit your individual needs and requirements. Job done!
Might have a bit of problem with the "wrap" bit. All sounds a bit poncy. What's wrong with a good slice or two of white?
Breakfast drink : ingredients are the same as birdys above but minus the wrap and now with lots of red sauce. To create this culinary delight, cook it all in a frying pan and saucepan, when cooked chuck it in a blender and add red sauce until a drink consistency is achieved, drink from the blender to save on washing up
I obviously don't mix in the right circles having never bought "wraps". Is this a camper thing? Might have to reappraise said purchase. Two doorsteps and brown sauce is more my ideal when camping.
I think these wraps came about when they introduced old el paso food brand info asda and put it on tv, it's def flavour of the month now and very hip I prefer bread myself as you can't do fried wraps in the same way as fried bread
