Best layout for a ply floor

  1. OK - so the commercial marine ply is 2500 by 1220mm and the van is about 1500 squar'ish.

    Posts seem to show the main cut set to the forward edge and then a cut which I guess is close to the seat panel - going to fit a Rusty Lee so;

    Is that the best cut for a van?

  2. I split my cut central for and aft, then put Bamboo flooring in, perfect no movement sits down fine. You don't get flex in such a small area. I don't think the cut is critical...

  5. Just found this thread.... when you say bamboo flooring, what is that (please don't say flooring made from bamboo...;) )

  6. Well sorry but it is made of Bamboo, very common in Oz, extremely hard wearing floor in houses. I did our house and put the left over timber in my Kombi.....
