OK - so the commercial marine ply is 2500 by 1220mm and the van is about 1500 squar'ish. Posts seem to show the main cut set to the forward edge and then a cut which I guess is close to the seat panel - going to fit a Rusty Lee so; Is that the best cut for a van?
I split my cut central for and aft, then put Bamboo flooring in, perfect no movement sits down fine. You don't get flex in such a small area. I don't think the cut is critical...
I think just so you've got the cuts under a cabinet or the bed frame. Don't know how Rusty Lee's bolt down but the Westy just has a front panel with rearward side projections that need supporting. This was how I did it.. https://thelatebay.com/index.php?threads/chip.33075/page-4
Just found this thread.... when you say bamboo flooring, what is that (please don't say flooring made from bamboo... )
Well sorry but it is made of Bamboo, very common in Oz, extremely hard wearing floor in houses. I did our house and put the left over timber in my Kombi.....
