  2. It's one of the very first JK offerings but no makers info - very strong , well made and lasted very well seeing as it's about 20 years old !
I've looked at newer canopies but they just don't seem as 'robust' ...

But I like your inflatable one that you’ve been trialing.

  4. We used to use an Outwell Country Road that came with the bus that was pretty good but eventually started to show it's age so we now use the JK retro awning which is excellent. It's very easy to put up and looks great and unlike some JK products is very good quality too.

  5. Our set up involves one of Clive whatsisname's original 'Individual Interiors' sunshades, a Moroccan rug and an Olpro pop up tent. Every thing is totally storm proof, erects & packs away in five minutes flat, and takes up minimal space when we're on the road.

We've had a traditional framed awning, a JK Spacemaker, a Country Road & a single hoop inflatable. This litte lot beats them all hands down.

Picture deleted on account of the huge tub of Vaseline.

We bought a Coleman event shelter earlier this year with 4 doors (no ground sheet). It's been brilliant in the back garden over lockdown for socially distanced gathering of our social bubble. I'm tempted to use it with the camper, but having a couple of grown up kids with us, the awning wins out due to the extra sleeping space

Mine's a 'Bandit' IMG_20180706_152451.jpg IMG_20180609_142017.jpg , bought in on here for £100 never been used, does the job but i don't think i could put it up on my own.

  8. We have a big air beam tent plus a pop up gazebo. Lots of space but all takes a little while to set up. We have three kids so need the extra space, none of the awnings seemed to offer this much space or were twice the price. Doesn’t connect to the van but I can get it pretty close.

all depends on your needs. Had an outwell country road which was good but doesn’t suit us any more!
