Beryl the bus

When I sold my prototype bay about four years ago





I had a big hole in my life so I was on the lookout for another bus, Im a taxi driver and one day I picked this old chap up and took him home, he only lives a mile from me, where I saw up the drive through the garage window the shape of a bus, I started chatting and said that I just sold one and could I have a look, sure he said and took me up the drive well there was his bus wrapped in blankets with flat tyres and not been out for a few years, it started first time, he said as he was getting on and was'nt sure about driving no more, He'd had her from new and used to go all over, His wife came out and said he'll never sell her but took my name and number if ever he did, Time went by and I picked him up a few times by chance then one day i picked his wife up and she said he's not been well and he wants to see me, (they lost my number) I drove her home and bingo he said I could have her, She was in original colours Blue and pastel white top but needed a makeover and new interior, she,s never been welded and all panels are original, Im a lucky man
