Hey all - I see it's been busy while we've been away! Cornwall was extremely windy so we decided to cut our trip short and head home last night. Clutch gave up just past Exeter when we left TLB summer camp but we decided to get towed to our first campsite anyway and work out what to do from there. As we were on the tow truck (forgot to take photos - it was raining and we were tired) passing through the village we were staying near we spied a couple of split-screens parked outside a garage - yep the village of Sticker contained a classic car garage! They wound up having to overnight the part from Germany (some quirk of UK vs US spec from 1974) and we had to sleep in our gazebo one night but were able to fix it at a decent price! We'll pop a review up in services in a bit. Stayed in some great sites so will have a few for the Cornwall section too. I have to say I'm glad we had Arthur with us when the riots kicked off on Monday in Croydon - the tv shop at the end of our road got hit! Thanks to HorTs for the hard work getting us up and running again!
Weve landed home too!! Was great when you found me turning round in the one way street in Padstow stook your head in the window and gave a big Ello!!!
Glad to have you 3 home and glad you got Arthur sorted. I did get a bit worried when your communication died on me.
Well, didn't you guys miss some excitement while you were away!!!! ;D What with the death and re-birth of TLB and Croydon being burnt down, I bet you wished you'd stayed here now! Good to have you back!! ;D
welcome back while we were camping a family was going home yesterday who packed their t25 up and drove to the camp in the new forest from the london riots to be safe...damm good idea i thought
