  2. Congrats on a successful trip.

What type of awning is that you have there, never seen one secured to the front door before?

  3. i trapped the front sheet in there to stop it flapping about lol!!!!!!!!! its a harrison one i got off ebay was brand new when it arrived or maybe used once or twice it fits to the gutter i bought it for 25.00 and it came from a campsite in devon and was supposed to be a modern 2x2 porch awning....so im guessing they didnt know it was not what the leaflet on the front of the bag said and sent it :O i think i had an awesome result for 50.00 posted its just preference to trap the sheet in the front door dont get flapping on the van in the night hehe

  4. Think you got a cracking deal hun for £50, i got a driveaway awning, weathers looking good this morning, so i think i will attempt to put it up, i have no instructions for it, and they guy i got it off, said he was drunk when i put it up the 2 times they used it, I no its a drive away because i saw pics of it connected to his Splitty looool, wish me look hahaha

  10. Looks like a cracking set up ,glad you had a good time :)

    Looks really comfy.

How was the top bunk though for a 14 yr old?

  11. ive been on the top bunk its very comfy :) the issue people have and i know dubious will be rubbing his leg at the thought of the top bunk is..... is it well used...mine was unused as the roof had never been anything but perhaps propped up if at all so one bunk was rotten unused but totally rotted out from a leaky window...the other is pristine...thats the one she was on i also rigged a hammock up ontop of it and tucked it under the ends so it was held in with the weight...so should it have given way she would have just been laid in the hammock lol....i will make a better cover which ill be producing to sell with industrial velcro that can be put over your existing bunk for added safety :) and also working on padding for each end just to make it a nicer finish ill have that ready in a few weeks as a prototype :)
