  1. I will have to check mine when I get it back next week. If I get the kit from that link that @Chrisradioman put up, how long do you need to cut the pieces?

Remove the existing lines 1 at a time and cut it to suit.

  3. Its definitely different, but I am not sure the set up on those, they don't have the expansion tank things in the vents. :)

  4. I noticed the other day that the fuel filler neck rubber is starting to perish so I stripped the neck of the tank & replaced it all, not a nice job with the engine in place:-

That is very worrying, I did all mine about three years ago. I suppose I'd better check but I would have expected the hose to last longer than a couple of years.

Its worth noting that proper pipe clips should be used, since this photo I've also changed the injector pipes. :)

  13. All the fuel hose is now finished on the engine, its all new top quality stuff with proper fuel hose clips as opposed to the jubilee clips which damages the hose:-

  17. For my intake boots I bought a 300mm long 35mm id silicone hose spec:-
Max Working Pressure 5 Bar (70psi)
Hose Temp range -50°C(-58°F) to 170°C(338°F)
    Wall Thickness 4.5mm
    Construction 4 Ply Polyester Silicone.

Not strictly fuel but still a job worth doing. :)

  18. Its also worth plumbing in an automatic fire suppression system
Took a few pics of my finished engine bay, showing my firetech installation:-

Do you need two systems if everything in you engine bay is tip top and well maintained?
