We are reluctantly selling our T2 VW bay window camper that we have owned for approx 4 years. Children and circumstances have changed so I feel I should pass her on to someone who will use and spend the time on her she deserves. A rare late LHD Westfalia Auto Berlin Bay. A 1979 US import model Volkswagen with original Westfalia interior. Key features as follows: - Left hand drive, Petrol, Automatic, 2l engine Interiors is original and in great nick for a 38 year old - LPG/propane tank that powers the cooker - 240v hook up installed - Original fridge, sink, interior units, upholstery, swing table and curtains - Mechanically sound - Ive fitted a 3point seat belt in the rear which we used for a child seat - Modern radio with ipod connector, I can include the original radio if you want - Buddy box - Pop top (which doesn’t leak) with foam double bed - ¾ rock and roll bed with rails for hammock in the front - Sleeps 4 adults and a child comfortably - Movelite driveaway awning and Just Kampers cover included, cover could do with a wash though and the awnings not the best but done us fine. This is an extremely straight original bus, the usual offending wheel arches and bottom six inches are solid. It has however corrosion under the windows the worst offender being the windscreen. Some surface rust in the odd place also and slight bubbling on the sliding door which I painted over with red oxide paint. The battery tray also needs replacing. The underside has been undersealed and is solid, I’ve also put cavity wax inside all the door shuts and wherever I could.
